Cuyuna Lakes Trail

Quoted from Trail website:

Weaving its way through towering pines, skirting the edges of Minnesota's newest lakes, and winding quietly under the cries of bald eagles, a trail connects people to people. The exciting Cuyuna Lakes State Trail is a multi-purpose state trail through the five-thousand acre Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area (CCSRA).

The trail will covers over twenty miles and will be an important link in the overall trail system of the central Minnesota Lakes region. On the west, the trail will ultimately connect to the Paul Bunyan Trail in Brainerd/Baxter, while on the east, it will run to Aitkin generally following the Mississippi River and the Highway 210 corridors. Currently the trail runs from Riverton to the Deerwood city limits, just south of the Hallett Community Center.
